Roger Federer has won Wimbledon Championship 2012 singles title after beating Andy Murray in the final of Wimbledon Championship 2012. It was an interesting match, home crowd was in support of local hero Murray and Murray won the opening set by 6-4.

The score of Roger Federer’s victory was 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4. It was looking that Andy Murray lost the momentum in 2^nd set and after that Roger Federer never looked back. It was all Roger Federer around. In the first set Andy Murray played awesome and almost outclassed the swiss master.

Roger Federer has been crowned Wimbledon Championship and got world no. 1 spot back in hand. Djokovic moved to 2^nd and Nadal to 3^rd. The only points difference between Djokovic and Federer is 75 points so upcoming tournaments will be important for both players and especially US open 2012.
